Wat Phra Singh, Chiang Mai

The Wat Phra Singh is perhaps Chiang Mai’s most popular Buddhist temple, as it houses the city’s most revered Buddha image – Phra Singh. The large hall (built in 1345) is built in the classical Lanna (northern Thai) style. I particularly liked the walls of the smaller chapel, which were covered with narrative murals.
